One colour in, a palette out — with the tints and shades you'll actually need.
The tints and shades are the useful half. Five swatches isn't a palette you can build anything with — the moment you need a hover state, a disabled control, a faint border or a tinted background, you're eyedropping and guessing, and it drifts. One hue at ten lightnesses is what a design system actually runs on.
Harmony gets you started, it doesn't get you finished. Colour wheel relationships are a way of not picking at random; they are not a guarantee that the result works. Triadic and tetradic in particular produce sets that are technically balanced and very hard to use, because three or four colours all shouting equally is a design with no hierarchy.
Check the pairs you intend to use. Nothing here promises a combination is readable — that's a separate question, and the contrast checker answers it. A palette that looks good and fails at 3:1 is a palette you'll rebuild in six months.
The ramp runs from 97% to 12% lightness rather than 100% to 0%. Pure white and pure black carry no hue at all, so the ends of a full-range ramp are the same two swatches whatever you started from — which makes them useless as brand tokens.
